How to take part
An institution-led challenge
Every school, ITI, polytechnic, college and university nominates one coordinator, who registers the institution and enters the solutions its students have prepared. Both tracks are open at every level; what differs is the depth of demonstration expected.

Nominate a coordinator
A principal, head of department or innovation cell in-charge takes responsibility for the institution's entries.

Register the institution
One account per institution, created with the official email and district details.

Enter student solutions
The coordinator records each student or team entry, saves drafts, and submits before the window closes.
Levels
Three levels of participation
Junior
School students up to Class XII and introductory-level learners.
Clear observation of a local problem and a simple working solution, or a well-reasoned service or governance idea. A prototype is encouraged but not mandatory.
Technical
Students of Industrial Training Institutes and Polytechnics.
Hands-on engineering, fabrication, electronics or process solutions. A working prototype under Track A; a costed and field-tested delivery model under Track B.
Open
Undergraduate students and above, including postgraduate students and research scholars.
A demonstrated prototype or pilot with a credible pathway to deployment, supported by cost, beneficiaries, timeline, impact and scalability.
Beyond recognition
Support to innovators
Shortlisted innovations receive structured support, not recognition alone.
Academic and industry mentorship, assigned by theme and by track
Access to laboratories, fabrication facilities and testing support
Incubation, seed and pilot funding through partner incubation schemes
Field-testing with urban local bodies, panchayats and district administrations
Intellectual property filing and protection guidance
A defined adoption pathway with Ministries, participating regions, PSUs and industry
